I am having my last two wisdom teeth taken out today. The last time, 8 years ago, for one reason or another I could not eat for about two weeks and I lost a lot of weight. I am currently in the strength phase and want to keep training and not loose too much muscle mass if I have the same recovery time as last time.
I was planning on just drinking a lot of beer to keep my calories up but there is probably a better way to do this. Any thoughts?

If you literally can't eat, then drink some form of protein shake. This thread (especially page 2) recommends some specific shakes, but there are plenty of options out there.
One piece of advice, if you decide to go the shake route, get a shaker cup.

Just to add, you have to work really hard to get enough calories. I broke my jaw a few years ago and lost 10 pounds despite drinking chocolate peanut butter milkshakes all day.
