Hi-
There has been at least one blog post and several threads about getting sick during your training phase, and what to do about it. I haven't been able to find any of them, sorry. Can someone help me out? Specifically, there was a blog post where either Mike or Mark was talking about quitting his job and spending a year climbing, got sick, went to smith and sent some routes but should have done them faster, etc.
thanks for any help.

Here is the blog post you're referring to: The Most Important PhaseNot sure if it will answer your question though, the part about being sick is mostly just an aside.

I'm currently recovering from a nasty stomach bug and with three kids and a high risk job, I'm seem to be sick at least once per season. Did you have any specific questions?

I just wanted to see generally what people do if they get sick, how to try and recover from it, and how to resume the training cycle. I got sick right as the power phase began and I feel good now, but my power is terrible. I guess not all seasons can be good ones.
