Hi-
I was curious if I should begin ARC training 10-20 lbs over what I was climbing at a couple months ago, or would it be prudent to lose weight first. I am wondering if the load on the joints and tendons will be detrimental to the training. Thanks

not from arcing. 10-20 pounds isn't hugely significant as long as you're careful to calibrate once you start hang boarding. In fact, I dropped about that much in a season and although I didn't feel stronger that season, my performance went up and there was long-run payoff

If I had to be at my performance weight BEFORE I started training, I would never be able to start training
