It seems everyone is talking about deadlifts these days. I was wanting to add these into my SE workouts during the strength phase but I don't have the equipment for them and I don't plan on buying it. What do you think is the best alternative to when you don't have the bars and other stuff to do them?

The best alternative to the deadlift would be kettlebell swings, of course that would require a kettlebell, but that is significantly smaller and cheaper than an oly lifting set. KB's are more power oriented, but work the same hip hinge motion. Other than that, there isn't much you can do without some kind of weight, but it could be a sandbag or anything heavy.
