I think it could work if the rungs were very incut. Stock Metolius Rungs will not be incut enough for traditional campusing on a 33 degree overhang.
You could also pinch the rungs, but then we'd be talking about a different exercise.

Thanks for the thoughts. Rung size/degree of incut was a worry as well... I do have a RPTC and could train power using the suggestions in the book... Trying to get the best of both worlds. I wish there was an easy way to build a retractable campus board XD
