This summer I will be reaching performance phase just in time for a vacation my wife and I are taking to climb around Canmore AB. I have never been there so I am wondering if anyone has any advice as to which grip positions it would be best to train during the strength phase? I plan on using a two set protocol since last time I followed the beginner routine and found it was not as intense as i would have liked. Thanks for any help.

I've been there, but usually to climb big mountains. I've done a tiny bit of sport climbing at Lake Louise and Grassi Lakes. There is a huge variety of rock in that area. Do you know what crags you are planning to visit and/or which rock types you plan to climb on? Narrowing that down will help get you the answer you're looking for.

We decided to head to lander instead, since i have been there a few times I know how to train for Wild Iris. Thank for trying to help.
