I know Mark and Mike are coaching JStar but is anyone else using the RCTM to coach others? I have always been interested in coaching but haven't been able to figure out how to get started. Mark and Mike, have you guys considered giving a coaching class and "certifying" coaches in your methods?

I would be interested in this too. I coach a group of kids, and have implemented a couple methods from the book, though in my experience I have found that focusing on fun and less specific methods of training are best for kids at the level which I coach.

I know some people who use some elements of the program, and I know of a couple coaches that have made bulk purchases of the RCTM to pass out to their clients. Mike is also advising the coaches of the kids team at his gym in C Springs. Mark and Mike, have you guys considered giving a coaching class and "certifying" coaches in your methods? sounds way too much like Cultfit. Although with all the money we could make, I could probably retire two or even three days early, haha. EDIT TO ADD: Seriously though, I'm too busy, and the profits are too small for me to dedicate any of my free time to anything that isn't intrinsically rewarding. I've dabbled in coaching, and the fun factor varies greatly depending on the relationship and the logistics. I've brainstormed different scenarios and I think the highest potential for fun-to-effort from my perspective would be some kind of one-time weekend "camp" in which clients come to my house, we do several hours of actual coaching combined with at least as many hours of hanging out, eating/drinking/watching 80's climbing videos, and the 2nd day we just go clinic-style-climbing somewhere fun.
