Following up on my last post, I'm now two weeks into my performance phase and I'm definitely reaping the benefits of both the strength and power phases. I think in my case, the decline in perceived strength boiled down to inadequate rest (even though I thought I was getting adequate sleep at 8ish hours per night). Work was pretty hectic throughout my entire power phase, and I think that I was starting to get a bit ragged towards the end. I wasn't physically fatigued; I think that the mental fatigue is what got me.
The last two weeks have settled down considerably, my rest has improved, and the grades are speaking for themselves!
I'm wondering if the OP has seen a continued decrease in their performance, or if things changed around for them as well...?

Although I still do not feel as strong as I did right after the strength phase I feel my experience resembles yours. I had never done any campusing before and I think I was just generally quite fatigued, the power phase just took more out of me than the strenght phase, so I needed longer to recover. I haven't gotten on any hard sport projects after I started my PE phase, but the few days we've had of nice weather I sent new personal best multipitch trad routes which was super inspiring to me.
