I've been locked out of training power on the local moonboard at our gym. All climbing gyms shut for a minimum of 6 months. I had some campus rungs laying around from a few years ago and decided to finally put them up. Also threw on this quote from Gullich! ![](https://i.imgur.com/cY2fEMS.jpg) Attached it to my other free standing board which has helped make it pretty bomber in terms of movement. Went with 15 degrees, moon spacing, and I have 60cm of horizontal space behind first rung, with 125cm up to the first rung. The design on here was I think 100cm, and recommended 90cm of space behind the board. Because I had enough roof space, and am tall at 6 foot, I found that the higher option was going to work better for me. Testing it out, I have plenty of room, and don't have to tuck the legs too much.

That looks awesome man, love the quote! How tall are your ceilings?

Thanks.
3070mm. I used 3050mm of it.
One thing I did learn is that I put the rungs on the ply first before putting it up which meant that I had to ensure the ply was perfectly level when put it on the board. I had 1200mm of space between the beams for a 1200mm panel. That didn't allow for much adjustment to keep it level when putting the ply on. If I did it again, I'd make the width between the beams 1204mm to allow room for adjustment. Something I need to do in more of my designs - allow a little wiggle room for adjustment.
