Hi guys!! This is my first season and the first post on this forum. I'm at the end of the power phase. I've never done campus, these are the first times.
I know that max ladder difficulties are subjective, but, I've tried to create an incomplete list of max ladder ordered by difficulties.
In my opinion, increase the first move is easiest then increase the second one. For example 1 3 4 < 1 2 4. My goal is to create a complete list of the max ladders with your help. It can be useful when you do not know which can be the next step in your max ladder progression.
For example, now I've reached 1 4 5 on small and 1 4 6 on medium. What can be the next step? 1 5 6 is very far for me, but I can try to decrease the first move and work on the second one, try to close 1 3 6 and then try 1 5 6 according to my list. What do you think? If you want to add or modify some entries to complete this list, do it!
Here the list:
1 2 3 1 3 4 1 2 4 1 3 5 1 4 5 1 4 6 1 3 6 1 5 6 1 4 7 1 5 7 1 3 7 ... 1 5 9

Like you said, the progression will probably differ from one person to the next and from one campus board to the next (i.e. Moon half-spacing).
Personally after 1-4-6 I would aim for 1-3-6 and then 1-4-7. For reference, currently my next step is 1-4-7. Haven't tried 1-5-6 but rather, after doing max ladders, I've been just sticking the first move (1-5), hanging for a moment, and then dropping off. That span seems to be extra stressful on the shoulders so I'm just trying to ease into it and sort of prepare/strengthen my shoulders before incorporating it into a full max ladder. So for me, 1-5-6 would come after 1-4-7.
I don't have any experience beyond that but would guess that 1-5-8 is easier than 1-3-7 ??

Similar to what tsh said, I think you are missing a few steps to train the 2nd throw power. I can currently do 1-4-5 very consistently, but I will be trying to bump up to 1-2-5 prior to trying 1-4-6 in my next power phase. It may be an individual thing, but from what I've read it's the standard progression for most.

anyone want to take a swing at putting Vgrades to those max ladders, i.e. 1-3-5 on large rungs is V2

It’s way too height dependent to grade universally. I suppose you could grade moves for a given wingspan.
