For those of you who have the ability to control your conditions when hangboarding this question is for you.
I am curious if people have dialed in a specific temperature and/or humidity range that they find best for their workouts. I've recently noticed that sometimes when I make the temperature too cold I seem to slip of the board, and am not sure if it's a humidity or temperature issue.

There is an optimal temperature & humidity for the combination of your skin + the hold you are using. Smaller & more incut holds tend to work better w/ lower temps/humidity or thicker/harder skin. Larger (especially slopper) holds usually the other direction: for example, to hang onto the worst beastmaker 2k sloper, I WASH my hands in warm water and then try it w/ no chalk (one of my buddy can easily do it AFTER coming back from surfing).
In general, if you sweat a lot, you likely want really cold temps. But if you have very dry skin (like me), the optimal temps may be 20-30 degrees higher.
Also of note: for climbing, I feel that absolute humidity (grams of moisture per cubic meter of air) vs relative humidity (percentage of max moisture @ a temperature & pressure) is probably a better indicator.
