Hey guys, just wanted to let you know how psyched I am after sending my first 5.12 outside after my second cycle training with the RCTM! By the way, I met J-Star at Rumney and mentioned you guys. He is a really cool dude.

Right on man! Great work, I'm very happy for you. I hope you take some time off to enjoy your achievement. What route did you do? I've been to Rumney once, but I was nursing an injury so I didn't try anything harder than 5.11. I'd love to get out there again some day to do some of the classics.

Hey Mark,
I did Things as They Are Now at Jimmy (basically a longish V4). I also am an easy but technical move away from Jedi Mind Tricks. Hoping to get back before the cold gets unbearable to put some work into Technosurfing and a few other lower 12s. Rest??? Haha. My performance peak ends in mid-November which allows one more trip to Rumney and a quick weekend in the Red before Thanksgiving.

Absolutely. Things like Technosurfing at Rumney and Stunning the Hog at the Red are just incredible climbing that can't be done in the lower grades. On the other hand, there's always Predator and the Madness Cave to get my butt back in the gym at the end of the season
