Curious as to if/when you would drop off the hangboard due to form falling apart?
When I'm really pushing it to the limit my last rep before coming off I'm almost pulling myself up into the hangboard, sometimes I'll shift some weight onto the hand that feels less pumped etc. so I'll favor the right hand and pull sideways onto it, I'll wriggle and do whatever I can to stay on. It's messy, but I'm just trying to throw everything at it.
Keen to hear thoughts on how far you push it before you will give up due to form dropping off.

I've never had an issue where I'm trying to weigh one hand more than the other, but for me that would be a reason to come off. I think I know what you mean by pulling yourself into the hangboard. I do something similar sometimes by contracting my abs and shifting my knees forward. It's basically just changing my center of gravity a little. I try not to do that, but if I do I still stay on. My main reasons for coming off are:
1) Shoulder form drooping 2) Fingers feel "strained" 3) Just plain can't hang on any longer
I've tweaked my shoulders and AC joint on the left by hanging poorly before and don't want to do it again. I don't want to blow any finger tendons, so if anything starts to feel tweaky, I'll stop. I also don't want to "snap" off a hold because my finger slip off of it while I'm exerting max effort into the grip; that tends to hurt for some reason.

I have my hangboard mounted over the stairs to the basement. So basically, I stop when I think I'll pop off and fall down the stairs.
