I remember reading this somewhere on here before but after a considerable amount of time questing for that post I can't find it. so...
How do you like to warm-up at home/a gym before hitting your outdoor project.
ARCing and a Warm-Up Boulder Ladder?

I don't know how I missed this post...
Anyway, I do a combination of Arcing, WBL and perhaps a lap on my PE circuit depending on:
1) What my project is like (boulder vs pumpy) 2) How near it is to my limit 3) how close I am to sending (working moves bolt to bolt, vs hoping to send next go) 4) How long the commute is (from end of warmup to stepping off the ground)
The least I'll do is 10 min of ARCing followed by ~ 10 min of WBL, consisting of V2, V3, V4, V5, V6, V8. For more power-intensive things I will ad a 1-2 harder BPs. For pumpier things, when I'm close to sending, or with an extra long commute, I'll add a PE lap at the end to get pumped for the drive.

For outside boulder problems, I find warming up to where I can do moderately heavy hangs at home to be really effective.
