I have limited space in my house, so when I mounted my hangboard, I also snuck a mini campus board between the two halves. Benefits include working the campus rungs into my strength exercises to minimize injury during the upcoming power stage, plus, giving me a way to do limited campusing when getting to the gym is difficult. Any comments?

Pretty clever! I like it. It's definitely resourceful!

I had a limited situation similar to yours a while back. I made the campus board so that the top would attach to the hangboard and I could remove it. The bottom hung down between the doorway with a padded cross piece that fit around both sides of the door frame. It was stable enough and I could make about 3.5 feet of upward movement.
Of course you had to duck low through the doorway when it was up, but I would take it right down when done.

I was thinking something similar using t-nuts and climbing bolts for rapid removal and installation- didn't post it though because I hadn't thought of the crossbar idea. That's really good.

pdormaar, Are you able to get much of a campus/power type workout with the setup? Seems like you might be able to just do little bump moves and maybe typewriters. Clever idea though, I might chop up some of my campus rungs and copy what you did... Thanks
