What are you guys' thoughts on the programs available at trainingbeta.com? Particularly the Power Endurance plan by Kris Peters and the Endurance plan by Kris Hampton? They are obviously longer than the phases you guys suggest for these aspects of training, but do you feel they could slot into the phases you guys lay out in RCTM?

I think any training program that suits your needs will work for you. I also think that unless you're pushing 5.14 the nitty gritty details of training aren't so important and the most important thing is that you actually ARE systematically training and recording your progress.
I also think that RCTM works well for me, and it cost the price of a book rather than the price of a monthly subscription. I also like having to plan out my own details rather than just being given a workout and told to do it because I think it helps me learn more about training, which is important if I plan on continuing my training past a single phase and turning this into more of a lifelong thing.

Yeah I think Jesse highlights the importance of knowing whether you're a self-taught person or not. For self-taught people, particularly a large number of the folks that post here frequently, a system like the RTCM is going to be better whereas for people that need spoon-fed, that kind of approach is much more useful.
