I'm planning on starting a new training phase as i completely fell of the wagon. Gained weight more than i care to share, and just feel sluggish. I also decided on a goal route called congratulations 10a www.mountainproject.com/v/congratulations/105730472. I've worked on this route and am making very slow progress through the crux, which is in the first couple of moves( on top rope so far.) I completed one session of the trad plan not being very strict and saw results, however i'm wondering if a general plan would show more results , than the trad plan per say. Lastly i find it hard to measure progress with the arc phase. Should i run laps on autobelay climbing up and down, or just traverse as much of the gym as i can for certain set time. Only problem with autobelay is have to get off wall to get on different routes. Thanks. Oh besides diet should i do anything else to help with the weight to come off faster, Running, strength training, cardio etc
