Well I'm at week 12 of the trad plan and have been following the plan kinda loosely, but have seen results regardless. Before i would have trouble climbing a 10c in the gym, and i just did my first 11b on toprope at the gym near my house, and am actually working on v4+ boulder problems now( I have noticed certain sit starts kick my ass). This brings me to my question, I was hoping that by week 14 it would finally be warm enough to get outside but not a chance near where i live outside Chicago, and climbing at devils lake. Still a good amount of snow on the ground and only 15 degrees so do i keep plugging along through the performance phase anyhow or should i start a whole new phase with the plan of peaking around June when the weather is nice. I was thinking of starting this Sunday, and with the results i had gotten from not being all that strict i'm hoping being very strict with the training this cycle and paying way more attention to the diet i will really see amazing results.
What you think does this sound like a good idea.

Congrats on the progress! Moving into the next range will open up a ton of great trad options. Starting anew sounds like a good plan. I started a new season too. I had planned it this way, and have just finished a week of PE, a comp, and then 10 days of rest. My new season starts now with ARC and a peak aimed for mid to late May.
There are some great trad lines at the Red too-- so you could hit some early performance time there before Devil's Lake warms up.

This is exactly what I did as well. Skipped performance phase entirely as well as most of power endurance phase, due to weather not being good enough to get outdoors much. Starting a new phase early also fit in well with a planned trip in May. I still took the rest phase though (I definitely felt like I needed it).
