I am nearing completion of my power phase for bouldering with performance phase set to begin on February 18. However, we have about 3 feet of snow on the ground (it's snowing right now!) so conditions are not going to allow for any performance for a few weeks at least. I'm thinking of just continuing power training until conditions improve. Is that the best way to go and how should I expect this to impact my performance phase?
Thanks in advance!

How long have you been in the power phase? If you anticipate a few more months of snow before climbing conditions improve you could cycle back through the strength/power phases of your plan (shortening each phase) so that your peak comes around when you need it.
I have been doing exactly that for the last few years. Full cycle from October->January, followed by a 1/2 cycle Feb->March. This sets me up for spring bouldering season which then fades into summer trad climbing.

That's a pretty great answer. If you're just looking to delay a few weeks, continuing to train power is the best way to do that IME. If you need to delay more than a month, I would consider another approach, like the one described above.
Or, you can take a vacation to some place without so much snow!

Would love to take a vacation, but don't see that happening.
I'm hoping that it's just a few weeks and I might even shovel off some projects once it stops snowing. Thanks for the input.

Don't shovel too much, 3' of snow has got to make most problems way easier

Ha ha, we shovel the tops so the problems won't be soaked when the snow starts melting. Highballs and sit starts can be much easier with this much snow!

I like that term and will probably be using it soon.
Wish I could have bouldered outside on Saturday, I think I could have taken down at least one of my projects. Highpointed a hard problem in my garage and finally did 1-3-5 both left and right on the medium rungs on my campus board. Felt super strong, and then it snowed another foot on Sunday. That makes about 65 inches of snow in three weeks with more forecast for Tues., Wed. and Saturday this week...
