Anyone using pinch blocks and crimp blocks like the Tension Blocks instead of a hangboard? Maybe a little easier on the shoulders in the long term. Opinions? I am old by the way and shoulder impingement is a real thing.

I used a grippul for a little while and didn't feel like it was specific in the way hangboarding is

I think that something like "The Block" would be great for when your traveling and want to keep your fingers fresh, or if your are nursing a shoulder injury. That being said, we perform with our arms above our heads so I try and train that way.
