RPs,
Seems like it would be good to have a forum category for Training Tools. This would include discussions about home walls, which type of gymnastic rings are best, maybe some hangboard topics (those centered around the hardware aspect of it), etc. What do you think?

I think it's worth a shot! Seems that the vast majority of the conversations relate to home wall planning & construction, so you could even call the sub-forum something like "Home Walls & Other Training Apparatus" just to make it crystal clear.
My unsolicited advice is that if you're going to add a new sub-forum, I would consider consolidating a few of the existing ones that get less traffic: e.g. I think the "Planning, Skill Development & Mental Training" and "Skill Development" forums could be subsumed into the "Physical Training (General)" forum. Likewise, "Rest" and "Nutrition & Weight Management" could be merged. Not sure if that's easy to do with the ProBoards platform, but if so, could be a nice way to streamline the sub-forums a bit.

I think it's a good idea. It's a common topic it seems.

It is done.
Dan, I just noticed (thanks to your post) that the Planning forum has been mis-labeled this whole time. It's supposed to be Planning Scheduling and Goal Setting. Anyway, I think for now I will not combine any forums. Mostly what I'm trying to get out of the organization is to make it easy for people to find existing topics, so we don't have 68 separate threads on "how to train for the Red".

Note, I've moved many threads from various forums to the new Home Walls, etc forum. If you can't find your thread, look there.
Edit to add: If you think I made a mistake, let me know.

Thanks! It's really cool and much appreciated that consideration and energy continues to be put into improving the forum. For those that don't have training partners, the forum is an invaluable resource.
