Burst blood vessels from hangboarding?

I just finished a hangboard (and SE) workout and noticed that my left ring finger has some serious discoloration around and above the pip joint. It's a deep red color, like very rare steak. I did have a pretty intense set on the MR pocket, and I'm wondering if maybe I burst some blood vessels or something. It doesn't hurt at all. Anyone ever experience anything like this? Doesn't seem like it's a big deal, but i'm curious what it might be.

Do you have a picture? Sounds like a bruise, but bruises usually hurt. If it doesn't hurt, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I used to do that all the time. Now thanks to the RPTC and Forge (and getting stronger) I don't need to tape so much, and that pretty much made it go away (I'll still get some of that on my M finger pad from the Mono sometimes).
