Shouldn't be too hard! As a scientist, the curiosity and excitement about finding out what's beyond God must be killing him as well One response is all it takes...

From what I've seen he tends to be very keen to discuss Max Hangs vs. Repeaters so that might lure him into an instant reply... ;-)

Problem is that I would really like to get some advice on the dehumidifier and I'm pretty sure that he has some experience there.

Thanks Sander! Went through the bubble thread and while very impressive (especially on the OCD front), my problem seems to be of a different nature: where I live (Norway) we don't usually get the warm weather you lucky Americans are moaning about. If it ever hits the 70s, newspapers will warn you of the coming heat wave and people take spontaneous Summer vacation to make use of the Fjords heating up. During my last, horrible, session the temp was 46 but I kept slipping of holds anyway. What I need is a good way to reduce humidity in a sizeable garage/shed during periods of prolonged rain (and we tend to have more than 200 days with rain per year here). Mike mentioned a dehumidifier in an old thread on Mountainproject and Chris W seems to have one in his basement. It would be great to hear from sbd. with experience if it is worth spending the money.
Sorry for hijacking this thread btw. I think it's time that Mark returns and restores some order in this forum...

Maybe you could get him to spew about the Clear Creek stuff that's happened in the past few weeks?

In your case you can turn off the cooling function, but it dehumidifies as well. If your shed is too big or leaky for that -> use the bubble concept and place the unit in there

Damn, Mark has some good will power... Uhhh guys perhaps his 1,000th post has already happened and he's broken through to the other side. Somthing like Dorothy Kansas black/white to OZ technicolor. The avatar left here (999) is just the discarded carapace.

What if you just start giving out really bad climbing training advice.. eventually Mark would have to step in and say something.

Mark, are you OK? I'm actually a little worried. Please respond to my post to let us all know that you're not in mortal danger, thanks.
