I really appreciate this. Many people have the book, but in my experience very few have thoroughly read it. I've had the luck to buy it at the same time as one of my friend and this book was at the origin of hours of debates/margin notes/reinterpretations. Once in a while the knowledge and understanding of my training reaches a new question, and by thoroughly rereading some chapters of the book I often find a very clear answer in a simple sentence I would have overlooked.
It's just so dense in valuable information it's hard to have it all on the first try. Also I think this kind of book is most often read with a very particular question/objective in mind, so everything aside from that might be a bit blurred by the passion.
Thanks for the kind words! Years of answering questions on IMBs led me to think through every potential question. Then it was a battle with the editor to keep as much of those “why ifs” in the final version. It hasn’t stopped the questions, but I like answering them anyway, and I like knowing that 98% of the time the answer is already in the book (buried somewhere).

I am in a similar situation to others on this thread, wrapping up my strength phase with my home gym limited to my hangboard setup. I was considering taking 2 weeks or so to rest and ARC, and then move into the Max-R hangboard routine rather than the standard strength phase hangboard routine. I haven't used it before as I typically stick to LB/campusing in my power phase, and it has some obvious shortcomings for power training. From the perspective of optimizing training, has anyone done this before and/or have any thoughts on the benefits of doing so versus just starting back in on the standard strength phase in a few weeks?

I’ve never done things in that order. I would guess the transition from ARC right into Max R hangboarding would be super harsh.
