Just saw this really cool metal frame setup for a freestanding moonboard - www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCdAb7pRqkUWondering how easy it would be to design something similar, and get a local sheet metal co. to laser cut it and powder coat it. The issue for me is that I want something that will fit into a garage space, but also be freestanding and portable. As need the freedom to move house and move the system every couple of years. Ideally it would be a 3 component system, with a moon board to the left at 40 degrees, and then a 20 degree board to the right. Wondering how sturdy it would be, and what the design constraints would be.

They hung their panels the same way I did, just I was by myself so I used a micro traxion to hold it in place while I attached them. Cool setup

Had the good luck to visit Ted and the gang at Betafish. Very nice well thought out climbing wall(s). Great group of people who all out climb me - even the kids LOL. But I learned a lot and had a great time. I just need to practice what Ted taught me and I expect a nice little jump in grade I can climb.
