Anybody has Hard Grit and/or Fingers of Steel? Mark, I think I read that your Rock Prodigy program was developed based on Fingers of Steel and Performance Rock Climbing. Perhaps you have Fingers of Steel(?).

I have Fingers of Steel on VHS. It's not very entertaining, but it is packed with great training info from one of the most under-rated American free climbers, Tony Yaniro. That guy was decades ahead of his time.

Do you still have a VCR to play it on?

I have been fascinated by climbers which video footage has been complicated to get (Clearly in the good ol' days recording video was different). Marc Le Menestrel, Fred Nicole, Wolfgang Güllich, Jerry Moffat, Ben Moon, Johnny Dawes... So many great climbers that I'd love to see moving in rock... Anyways, where/how did you get the tape? Any plans on converting it to digital?
P.S. Did you notice your "God" status in your profile. Haha.

Marc Le Menestrel, Fred Nicole, Wolfgang Güllich, Jerry Moffat, Ben Moon, Johnny Dawes... For LeMenestrel, check out the Performance Rock Climbing video. Footage of Nicole is not hard to find, but if you need a lead, check out the Masters of Stone series. For Gullich, the best bet is Youtube. It seems that pretty much every clip of him ever recorded is on Youtube. Also, the Gimme Kraft! DVD has some cheezy training footage. For Moffat and Moon, there are two must have films: 1) The Real Thing, which you can find many clips of on vimeo/youtube, and 2) 80's: Birth of Extreme That film also has some Johnny Dawes footage, but Stone Monkey is THE Dawes film to get. Anyways, where/how did you get the tape? Any plans on converting it to digital? I bought it at a brick and mortar store more than 10 years ago. No plans to convert it to digital. I bet if you look hard you can find unsold copies somewhere. I wouldn't be surprised if Yaniro has a pallet full of them in his garage P.S. Did you notice your "God" status in your profile. Haha. How could I not, I'm omniscient now

I've watched this old clip of Scott Franklin on To Bolt Or Not To Be (circa 1989 ) more times than I care to admit...
