I am going to Slovenia this May for work, but I will be able to schedule some climbing too. Any advice / insights on climbing there would be super appreciated. I would love to try some classic tufa routes, but I think my best case fitness will just be 7b+ to 7c redpoint. I think these routes in the Spider cave might be too hard for completion, but perhaps I will be able to at least get on them and experience this novel type of climbing. I will be mainly in Ljubljana, but will hopefully be able to travel a bit.

Make sure you have a kneebar pad or two. I bet those climbs are littered with no-hands rests.

Good point- I will get a kneebar pad. I have never really had a big need for one, but I can certainly see the virtue on this 3D limestone.

Excellent! Thank you very much for the link to guide. Yes this looks very promising. Hopefully I will train well this season and can enjoy some of the more wild looking lines.
