I am just about to start doing LBC in the beginner program and am wondering about the composition of boulder problems and how down climbing should be considered as it relates to the total number of hand moves. If I am aiming for about 24 hand moves, should those be all climbing up, or should I count the down climb moves as well?
In the example in the RCTM (page 157) you use 5 different boulder problems and the down climbs are all V4 while the up climbs are all V5 to V7 so it looks to me that the down climbs should no doubt be easier than the up climbs, just not clear weather or not to count those as moves towards the total goal.
Thanks!

Just saw that you guys answered this same question in another thread - count the up and down climbs, got it!
