I am planning out the first 6 months of next year. Currently at the start of power phase, after doing 7 HB workouts. The plan was to go into power for 3 weeks, then move into power endurance for 3 weeks, before spending 3 weeks on performance. That takes me up to Christmas, where I will be on holiday for 2 weeks, which will be an active rest period with some skiing etc. Cue the New Year. I have a Hueco tanks at the end of Week 9, and my mate is talking about heading to the Red for 4 or 5 days at the end of Week 6.
What would be the best way to periodize this? I will be doing a lot of climbing in December so was planning on skipping ARC and going straight into 2 weeks HB, 2 weeks power, 2 weeks power endurance, then go to the Red. Then go back to power phase with limit bouldering before heading to Hueco?
