Was Strawberries Ron Faucett? I have no idea how hard it is because English grades are weird and I just assume all routes in the UK are 12 feet tall and somehow still 5.12X

Nice one Mark. I think Huber has become underrated. Probably the best climber in the world for a time until eclipsed by Sharma/Caldwell in the mid-2000s.
The Path. Clogwyn Dur Arddu. E8. Johnny Dawes, 1983. (All wild guesses, including the spelling of the crag.)
Edit - oops I see the Path has already been covered. Carry on.

Duck of Death is still out there. I’ll give credit to anyone who can describe where the name comes from.

Forever expired. 5.14+ Sonnie Trotter Lions Head. Hardest route in Ontario at the time, perhaps still?

Next up: how about Chilam Balam?

Duck of Death - is that an Unforgiven reference? Next up: how about Chilam Balam? You are correct. English Bob, the Duke of Death aka Duck of Death.

Did Chilam Balam ever get a confirmed grade? I recall it was originally given 9b+ or something outrageous by Bernabe Fernandez? It was repeated but I don’t recall who repeated it or what they graded it.

Nice one Mark. It seems to have settled in at 9a+/b escalade9.wifeo.com/chilam-balam.php. Still would qualify as the world's hardest route in 2003 if it weren't for the widespread doubt that he actually redpointed it (no belayer or witnesses, etc... sound familiar?). Absolutely incredible looking route.
