For those of you who are too cool for the RCTM blog, there's a new post about a short video Chris Alstrin made of me climbing my roof-to-end-all-roofs, Born on the 4th of July. You can check out the vid here.

Sweet!
Must have a pretty good rig for some of that setup. Is he putting together a full edit of you climbing the route?
You guys should film more of your climbing eh? We could learn something from watching you climb.

I would love to do more videos, but the problem is finding willing photographers (that is, willing to work for free). We are trying though, we realize there is interest and value in it.

True.
So I have a fair bit of camera gear. Everything for filming on a static line in a bosuns chair, a drone etc.
I'd be willing to come up to Colorado to film you climbing. It's just a matter of finding time off work, probably couldn't come up until early spring next year.
I'm obviously not as experienced as professional climbing filmmakers, but then again, I'd be willing to do it for the learning experience.

Wow, that would be awesome! In my experience, stoke is much more important than experience. I will definitely take you up on that offer.

Maybe you could check out some of the local colleges. Perhaps there are some film/camera/video classes with students who would be up for it. I'll bet you're more likely to find a college kid in Colorado who climbs than in York Pennsylvania [and THAT, btw, is why no one has seen video of ME climbing 5.14 FA's].
