So, I have just entered my strength phase within the last week, completing my second hangboard workout on Wednesday. I wound up with a wrist issue Monday from the MRP pocket grips on the hangboard I was using (I posted a thread about that), and it didn't really seem to interfere with my climbing or hangboarding (I actually wouldn't feel it after warming up and ARCing). Yesterday (Thursday), I decided do a light 30 minute ARC session. It was feeling really good for about 20-25 minutes and then suddenly I started to feel a sharp pain on the outside of the base knuckle of my pinky finger. I also got off of the wall immediately after I recognized I was feeling pain. There was no popping noise from what I could hear, I still have my complete range of motion in the finger, and there don't seem to be any lumps; just pain. Anyone deal with this issue before? If so, what do you recommend so that I can have a minimal recovery time and get back to training as soon as possible?
