Has anyone used Electro-Stim / E-stim with any success?
Any differences in effectiveness between longer-term and shorter-term tendon or muscle issues with e-stim?
I've been having bicep tendinitis and Medial epicondylitis on and off, and my wife for longer period of time. She went to a doc today, who said that e-stim was good for short-term pain relief, but wouldn't be effective toward solving a longer-term tendon or muscle issue.
We got a relatively cheap e-stim device and while it feels nice and all, it's hard to tell if it's actually helping. Any thoughts welcome - thanks!

Check out Dr. J's advice in Rock and Ice for the medial epicondylitis, the dodgy elbow's article. Try following a similar protocol with eccentric biceps curls to tackle the biceps tendinitis.
I don't know much about e-stim, but I'm a bit skeptical about it's efficacy outside of the hands of a trained PT
