Hey folks,
Was hoping to get some advice on the best way to train for progression in the max ladders. I just started the intermediate power routine from the book.
I can do B1-R3-L5-B5 no problem, as well as B1-R4-L5-B5 (and the opposite side of course) on both medium and large rungs. Is it generally considered easier to go 1-3-6, or 1-4-6? Both of these seem totally impossible and out of reach for me at this point, even on the large rungs. Even if I start "halfway" into it with one hand on 4 and the other on 1, I can't generate enough power with the bottom hand to go all the way from 1-6.
Thanks for the tips! It just feels frustrating that I can repeat 1-4-5 with almost 100% success, but 1-4-6 feels ridiculously hard.

IMO 1/3/6 is a lot easier but you ought to work both. Also try some offset pullups and muscle ups to build the underlying strength, in addition to the power.

Hey folks, Even if I start "halfway" into it with one hand on 4 and the other on 1, I can't generate enough power with the bottom hand to go all the way from 1-6. rockprodigytraining.proboards.com/thread/1162/medium-small-rungsThis thread may help answer some of your questions. The TL/DR version is that you need to work on pushing instead of pulling with the lower hand.

I think 1-3-6 and 1-4-6 are pretty close, but would say 1-3-6 is slightly harder.
I think that 1-4-7 is harder than 1-5-7 - personally, basically because the longer moves on the one arm have less to gain momentum - easier to get the big move off two hands at the beginning.
I can do 1-5-6, and have hit 1-5-7 in the past, but still can't get 1-4-7.
