I was doing my early reading over coffee this morning, and realized that Mark and Mike have just turned 40 last week. It took me a while to actually interpret that from the article (it was early!), but nonetheless, a belated happy birthday to both of you! You two have been an inspiration for all of us, and examples of what's possible with dedication and persistence. Mark, will you be taking up golfing now? I do have a set of clubs I can sell you... rockclimberstrainingmanual.com/2017/05/05/40-climbing-lessons/

I don't think I can afford golf. Plus I hate V-neck sweater vests.

Happy Birthday! Forty isn't that old, but the fact that you guys crush as hard as you do with more than a decade on me in age makes me hopeful that I have many more years of strength left. If an engineer from Colorado can do it I suppose an engineer from Texas can too! I don't participate on this forum too often anymore (I got sucked into reddit) but I'm still training and making progress. I still credit you guys for getting me started with training and I have no doubt that I wouldn't be climbing nearly as hard as I am right now if I hadn't bought your book and jumped on this forum.

Happy Birthday to Mark and Mike... again! Pretty sure they turn 41 today. A prime age (math ... joke ... ).
