This past year was the first time I stuck to a periodized training program. I had done some hangboarding in the past, but not with the structure outlined in the RTCM. It wasn't perfect, my timing was a little off and I shortchanged the PE section bigtime but overall it paid off, I managed to (spray) send my first 5.13 this past May (/spray). I'm big by climbing standards - 6'4" - and had doubts about my ability to send something that hard. It's funny, with standards being where they are, but I'm still psyched about it.
Cheers Mike/Mark, thanks for all the work you put into the book, it's a great resource.

At 6' 2" tall myself it's encouraging to find someone my size doing so well. Congratulations! If I might ask, what do you weigh?
