I've had some great hangboard workouts lately. So good that I've gone from taking it easy due to a finger injury to breaking some personal bests. (Granted these are lame PBs from a fairly untrained weakling!) This morning I was in the midst of crushing once again when I realized that I've been sleeping more lately. Normally I stay up later than my girlfriend watching tv/reading/whatever, but lately her brother has been visiting us and falling asleep early in our living room, which basically forces me to go to bed too. While I was pondering this I suddenly realized that I was getting desperately tired in the middle of a pinch set and then I fell off on the next rep. So...
Lesson one: Sleep can be very useful in recovering and working out hard!!
Lesson two: Freaking focus while you are on the hangboard!!
It's obvious stuff, but I found it pretty amusing.
